The invention relates to the technical field of environment-friendly building materials, in particular to a composite water permeable brick which comprises four groups of first brick bodies and second brick bodies with the same size, the first brick bodies and the second brick bodies are distributed in a staggered mode and surround the root of a tree to jointly form a tree-surrounding water permeable brick body with the center annular, and connecting mechanisms are arranged in the center annular areas of the first brick bodies and the second brick bodies. A supporting mechanism is arranged on the adjacent faces of the first brick body and the second brick body, petal-shaped water permeable holes are formed in the upper end face of the first brick body and the upper end face of the second brick body, and the first brick body and the second brick body are connected and fixed through cooperation of the supporting mechanism and the connecting mechanism; the expanding mechanism is designed in the device to be matched with the connecting mechanism to achieve connecting and fixing of the first brick body and the second brick body which are arranged in a staggered mode and surround the root of the tree, the connecting and fixing effect is excellent, the brick bodies are not prone to displacement or warping, and the brick body damage probability is reduced; meanwhile, the expanding mechanism can further cope with natural displacement or thermal expansion and cold contraction between brick bodies caused by tree root growth and seasonal temperature difference.
