The invention relates to a construction method for reinforcing a tower crane foundation through a foundation expansion method. The construction method comprises the following steps that S1, four materials including steel bars, concrete, anchoring steel bars and cement mortar are prepared; s2, the outer surface of the original tower crane foundation is coated with a layer of cement mortar; s3, holes are formed in the outer surface of the original tower crane foundation through an anchor rod drilling machine technology, and anchoring steel bars are placed in all the holes; s4, cement mortar is injected into the holes through a grouting machine; s5, reinforcing steel bars are used for binding and building a reinforcing steel bar frame on the periphery of the original tower crane foundation; s6, a cushion layer is laid on the foundation at the bottom of the steel bar frame; s7, a formwork is supported on the periphery of the steel bar frame, and concrete pouring is conducted to form a reinforced and enlarged foundation; and S8, after the concrete is solidified, the tower crane foundation reinforcement work is completed. The original tower crane foundation is reinforced by utilizing a foundation expansion method, so that the cost of dismantling, moving and the like is reduced, the engineering cost is saved, and the engineering period is shortened.
