The invention relates to the technical field of intelligent transportation, and provides a railing control method and device for a toll gate, terminal equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out transaction state monitoring on vehicles in a preset range of a toll gate; when it is monitored that a target vehicle whose transaction state is failed exists in any lane of the toll gate, a handrail of a corresponding lane is controlled to fall down based on the position of the target vehicle; wherein when the target vehicle is not monitored, the railing is controlled to execute the pre-lifting operation or the frequent lifting operation. Through the setting, the vehicle flow with the successful transaction state can be released at a high speed without rod falling, so that the vehicle passing efficiency of the toll gate is improved.
