Portable awning system
A portable awning system comprising: an awning (100), such as a tent or awning, at least partially made of a flexible material and foldable into a folded configuration; and a storage container (50), such as a bag, for receiving the awning (100) when the awning (100) is in the folded configuration. The awning (100) includes a folding guide indicator (108) positioned such that when the awning (100) is folded into the folded configuration by aligning a predefined portion of the awning (100) with the folding guide indicator (108), the awning (100) can be accommodated in the storage container (50). In an embodiment, the fold guide indicator (108) is a fabric tab sewn in a seam of the awning (100).
