The invention relates to a side door of a motor vehicle, the side door having a door lock actuator for a door lock, the door lock actuator preferably being an inner door actuator, and the door lock actuator having a pivot lever which can be pivoted about an axis of rotation of a joint, wherein the pivot lever has a coupling section for a mechanical actuation device of the door lock, to which coupling section the mechanical actuation device is coupled in the mounted state; an inner door handle preferably having one or more fastening regions and having at least one gripping region from behind which a hand can be gripped, the gripping region having an axial extension; wherein the pivot lever is preferably integrated into the gripping region of the inner door handle, and wherein the axis of rotation is preferably oriented substantially transversely to the axial extension. The invention also relates to a module for a side door of a motor vehicle, comprising a door lock actuator and an inner door handle, and to the use of such a module for a side door of a motor vehicle.
