The invention discloses a suspension bridge central buckle with a buffering and resetting function. The suspension bridge central buckle with the buffering and resetting function comprises two central buckle assemblies, a cable clamp and a main truss, the bottom of the cable clamp is connected with one ends of the two central buckle assemblies, the other ends of the two central buckle assemblies are connected with the main truss, and the two central buckle assemblies are symmetrically and obliquely arranged with the cable clamp as the center. The central buckle assembly comprises an upper lifting lug plate, an upper connecting rod, a buffer assembly, a screw assembly, a lower connecting rod and a lower lifting lug plate, the upper lifting lug plate is inserted into one end of the upper connecting rod, the lower lifting lug plate is inserted into one end of the lower connecting rod, and a gap area is arranged between the other end of the upper connecting rod and the other end of the lower connecting rod; a plurality of sets of screw assemblies are arranged in the gap area between the upper connecting rod and the lower connecting rod. According to the design, the central buckle can be reset after a strong earthquake, replacement of any component and additional maintenance are not needed, and the use safety of a bridge is effectively improved.
