The warm mix asphalt mixture is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 800-1000 parts of aggregate, 36-45 parts of modified asphalt, 2-3 parts of a warm mix agent, 10-20 parts of a water absorption expanding agent, 12-14 parts of a bonding curing agent and 10-18 parts of water guide filler. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing and stirring the aggregate and the water-guiding filler at 120-130 DEG C for 2 minutes, then adding the modified asphalt and the warm-mixing agent, mixing and stirring for 2 minutes, and finally adding the water-absorbing expanding agent and the adhesive curing agent, and mixing and stirring for 2 minutes to obtain the warm-mixed asphalt mixture. The warm mix asphalt mixture can be used for asphalt pavement construction, and has the advantage of high water stability. The preparation method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of simplicity in operation and reduction of energy consumption.
