The invention discloses a coal gangue roadbed treatment method which comprises the following steps: step 1, temperature measurement: distributing points along the two sides of the middle line of a roadbed, and carrying out temperature exploration on a coal gangue mountain in a roadbed section; a low-temperature area roadbed and a high-temperature area roadbed are divided according to the temperature exploration result of the coal gangue hill in the roadbed section, and the low-temperature area roadbed comprises a prevention and control area and a critical area; the high-temperature area roadbed comprises a heat storage area and an ignition area; 3, treating a roadbed in a low-temperature area; subgrades of the prevention and control area and the critical area are constructed by adopting a longitudinal excavation method, and a layer of loess is excavated and covered in time; and 4, high-temperature area roadbed treatment is conducted, specifically, before excavation construction of a heat storage area and an ignition area, the temperature of waste gangue slag is reduced in a drilling grouting fire extinguishing mode, and then construction is conducted according to a low-temperature area roadbed. Before roadbed construction, the coal gangue mountain is subjected to temperature measurement and zoning, corresponding treatment measures are taken for the low-temperature area roadbed and the high-temperature area roadbed, the roadbed construction technology is optimized, and construction safety and quality are guaranteed.
