The handrail assembly comprises a stand column and a sleeve, the stand column is connected with the sleeve, the stand column comprises a stand column rod and a clamping part, the clamping part is arranged on the side wall of the stand column rod, and the clamping part is arranged on the stand column rod in the extending direction of the stand column rod; the clamping part comprises at least two through holes, and the at least two through holes are sequentially formed in the clamping part in the extending direction of the stand column rod. A connecting hole is formed in the end, close to the sleeve, of the stand column rod, the connecting hole penetrates through the stand column rod in the radial direction of the stand column rod and corresponds to the positioning hole in the sleeve, and the stand column is connected with the sleeve by arranging a connecting piece on the connecting hole. Reliability and stability of the handrail sleeved by the clamping part are achieved, the stand column can adapt to handrails of more sizes conveniently, universality of the stand column is enhanced, and application universality of the handrail assembly is improved. The handrail assembly is higher in practicability, the structure of the stand column is simplified, the manufacturing cost is reduced, and operation during connection of the stand column and the sleeve is simplified.
