The invention relates to the technical field of water conservancy projects, and particularly discloses a water gate segmented water taking device for a water conservancy project. Comprising a flashboard for blocking water in a water channel, a plurality of water passing openings formed in the flashboard and located at different water levels, and an opening and closing mechanism arranged in the flashboard and used for opening and closing the different water passing openings. A positioning mechanism is further arranged in the flashboard, and a water quality detection mechanism and an illumination intensity detection mechanism which are used for detecting the water quality at different water levels and detecting the illumination intensity are arranged on the flashboard respectively. When the water quality detection mechanism detects that the water quality of the water passing openings is within the preset range and the illumination intensity detection mechanism detects that the illumination intensity is within the preset range, the opening and closing mechanism opens the corresponding water passing openings only when the two conditions are met at the same time, and different water conveying pipes can be connected to the different water passing openings. Therefore, different crops can be irrigated at appropriate irrigation time and under appropriate water quality, and the positive effect of irrigation on different crops is improved.
