The invention relates to an air water taking device based on a semiconductor refrigeration principle and a working method thereof, and relates to the technical field of water taking devices.The air water taking device comprises a box body, the box body comprises a horizontal box and a vertical box, and an air inlet is formed in the top end of the vertical box; a mounting hole is formed in the top end of the horizontal box, a semiconductor chilling plate is arranged in the mounting hole, the hot end of the semiconductor chilling plate is located outside the box body and connected with a plurality of hot end fins, and the cold end of the semiconductor chilling plate is located in the box body and connected with a plurality of cold end fins; a water outlet is obliquely formed in the bottom end of the horizontal tank; a water collecting tank is arranged on the bottom wall of the horizontal tank and below the water outlet; a rack is arranged at the top end of the vertical box, a motor is arranged in the rack, a driving shaft of the motor is connected with fan blades, and the fan blades are located over the horizontal box; and a heat insulation plate is arranged between the vertical box and the hot end fin. The device has the advantages that the manufacturing cost of the device is saved, energy conservation and emission reduction are achieved, and the water taking effect is improved.
