The invention relates to the technical field of water supply and drainage equipment, in particular to a municipal rainwater pump station which comprises a well body and a submersible pump installed in the well body, and the bottom of the well body is provided with two layers including a first well bottom layer and a second well bottom layer; the first well bottom layer is located above the second well bottom layer, and the first well bottom layer and the second well bottom layer are both in a shape with the lower center and the higher periphery and respectively form an inclined plane from the periphery to the center; the center of the first well bottom layer is provided with an opening, and the edge is provided with water holes; a water inlet of the submersible pump is formed in the opening position; the second well bottom layer is a closed layer; the water outlet position of a rainwater inlet pipe of the well body is arranged at the position of the first well bottom layer and below the water passing hole. By means of the mode that sediment deposition is reduced through the first well bottom layer and the second well bottom layer which are inclined, a powered desilting device does not need to be additionally arranged, the device simplification degree is high, energy is saved, and the operation cost is reduced.
