The invention discloses an in-situ blasting demolition method for a symmetrically folded collapsed chimney. The in-situ blasting demolition method comprises the steps that structural defects existing on a chimney cylinder body are treated; a plurality of blasting notches are axially formed in the cylinder wall of the chimney; a plurality of rows of blast holes are drilled in the range of each blasting notch, each blast hole is filled with explosives, and the explosives in the blast holes are connected with detonators; detonators are connected to form a same-network detonating network, and the detonating sequence and delay time of the detonating notches with different heights are set; and protection equipment is arranged, blasting notches at different heights are protected, and a blasting network of the same blasting network is excited and detonated. The in-situ blasting demolition method for the chimney is small in space influence range, small in pretreatment and punching workload, safe and stable in chimney collapse process, small in blasting adverse effect and wide in application.
