The invention discloses a self-propelled vibrating steel wheel, which relates to the technical field of engineering machinery and mainly structurally comprises a frame and a steel wheel assembly. The steel wheel assembly is arranged in the rack; the steel wheel assembly comprises a vibration steel wheel assembly, a driving assembly and a vibration assembly. The self-propelled vibration steel wheel module is designed based on the self-balancing principle, the structure is novel, the composition is simple, a rear frame and a cab for driving the single-steel-wheel road roller are omitted, and the manufacturing cost is remarkably reduced. Electric drive is adopted as a power source of the road roller, the new energy strategy in China is met, the transmission system efficiency is high, generated pollution and noise are small, and remote control and multi-machine cooperative control of the vibration steel wheel unit are easy to achieve. The vibration steel wheel is of a split structure, straight movement, turning and pivot steering can be achieved by controlling the rotating speed of the left half steel wheel and the right half steel wheel, the turning radius is smaller, and steering is more flexible. The vibration steel wheel module can work independently, and two or more than two vibration steel wheel modules can be connected in series and combined for use.
