The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, in particular to a single-pile built-in horizontal static load test device and a test method thereof.The device comprises a steel truss and a clamping device, the steel truss is fixedly connected with the clamping device, and the clamping device fixes and clamps a test pile; the counter-force pile is arranged on one side of the test pile, and a jack is arranged between the counter-force pile and the test pile and used for providing horizontal thrust; the dial indicator is connected with the bottom of the test pile and used for monitoring displacement of the test pile. The pile top is limited through the steel truss and the clamping device, and the built-in state of the pile top in actual engineering is simulated. A single-pile horizontal static load test carried out under the condition can truly reflect the horizontal bearing capacity of the pile foundation under the actual working condition.
