The invention relates to the technical field of buildings, in particular to a plate buckle support jacking and unloading device and a method thereof. Comprising a support jacking and a nut lug ring, the inner side of the top end of the nut lug ring is in threaded connection with the support jacking, and an unloading mechanism for improving efficiency is installed on the outer side of the nut lug ring; the unloading mechanism comprises lug plates, a connecting rod and a handle rod, the connecting rod is fixed to one end of the handle rod, and the lug plates are fixed to the two sides of the end, away from the handle rod, of the connecting rod; a safety hole is formed in the top end in the end, away from the connecting rod, of the handle rod. According to the disc buckle support jacking and unloading device and the method thereof provided by the invention, the unloading mechanism is used for converting the stress of the nut lug rings from a knocking dynamic load into a continuous static load applied to the nut lug rings, and meanwhile, the original unloading of a single nut lug ring is changed into simultaneous stress unloading of two nut lug rings; and the number of damaged nut lug rings is reduced.
