The invention provides a centrifugal brake capable of adjusting the magnitude of brake torque. A plurality of counterweights (32) are disposed in series in the axial direction on the inside of a housing (4), and an adjustment member (66) is connected to a holder (34) that rotates integrally with a rotating body (6), the adjustment member rotating integrally with the holder (34) and being movable in the axial direction with respect to the holder (34) to enter between the counterweights (32) and the inner peripheral surface (7) of the housing (4).
