The invention relates to the technical field of high polymer materials, in particular to a light self-leveling floor material and a paving method. The invention discloses a light self-leveling floor material which comprises a gypsum-based ceramsite heat preservation and sound insulation concrete cushion layer with the thickness being 2-3 cm, a gypsum-based self-leveling leveling layer with the thickness being 1-2 cm and a floor pavement layer with the thickness being 1-2 cm. Meanwhile, the invention discloses a pavement method of the light self-leveling floor material, and on the basis of the prior art, the composition of the light self-leveling floor material is improved. The gypsum-based ceramsite heat-preservation and sound-insulation concrete cushion layer has the advantages that the gypsum-based ceramsite heat-preservation and sound-insulation concrete cushion layer does not need a conventional extruded sheet, active crystals are creatively added, and the crystals generated by permeation can block capillary pores in the gypsum-based ceramsite heat-preservation and sound-insulation concrete cushion layer, so that the overall performance of the floor material is improved, the performance requirements of weathering resistance, freezing and thawing resistance, corrosion resistance, sound insulation, heat preservation and the like are met, and the requirements of customers are met.
