The invention discloses installation construction equipment for an air pipe in a narrow vertical shaft and an installation method.The equipment comprises a supporting mechanism used for supporting the air pipe to descend and a protection mechanism used for preventing the air pipe from colliding with the shaft wall in the descending process, and the supporting mechanism comprises a supporting plate used for supporting the air pipe and a base supporting plate arranged below the supporting plate; the base and the supporting plate are connected through a plurality of stacked supporting air bags. The height of the supporting plate is controlled by controlling the number of the inflated supporting air bags, one section of air pipe can enter the vertical shaft every time the air in one supporting air bag is discharged, the air pipes can enter the vertical shaft after being externally installed, assembly between the air pipes is facilitated, the workload of air pipe installation is reduced, and the working efficiency is improved. And meanwhile, gas released by the supporting gas bag can inflate the protective gas bag, and when the supporting plate drives the air pipe to descend, the protective gas full of the two sides supports the two sides of the air pipe, so that the side wall of the air pipe is prevented from colliding with the inner wall of the vertical shaft.
