A refrigerator or household appliance includes: a door including a door body and a door panel coupled to the door body; and a buffer member disposed at a rear surface of the door panel and disposed between the door body and the door panel. The door body defines a first portion at the front surface, an adhesive section is disposed between the door body and the door panel at the first portion so as to couple the rear surface of the door panel to the front surface of the door body, and the buffer member contacts a first section of the adhesive section and the rear surface of the door panel contacts a second section of the adhesive section.
