The invention relates to a groove supporting device, in particular to a supporting device for a water conservancy project groove, which comprises a supporting seat, sliding plates, supporting plates, an expansion supporting assembly and a pressurizing assembly, the two sides of the supporting seat are slidably connected with the sliding plates, and the sides, away from each other, of the sliding plates on the two sides are connected with the supporting plates; the supporting plate is used for supporting the groove slope, the supporting plate is provided with an expansion supporting assembly used for protecting the land around the slope, the supporting base is provided with a pressurizing assembly, and the pressurizing assembly can apply pressure to the supporting plate so that the supporting plate can be tightly attached to the slope. In the using process, the supporting plate can swing to the top of soil around the groove through the swing plate, meanwhile, the swing plate is fixed through the insertion column, and therefore the soil around the groove is protected, rainwater is prevented from flushing the soil around the groove, and the supporting plate can be better attached to the slope of the groove for supporting.
