The lever type automatic silt flushing device comprises a water baffle, the middle of the water baffle in the height direction is rotationally arranged on a cross beam, the cross beam is located on the cross section of the drainage ditch, the two ends of the cross beam are fixed to the two side walls of the drainage ditch respectively, and a basket carrier is arranged on the water removing side of the water baffle above the cross beam. A limiting structure is arranged on the side wall of the drainage ditch on the water inflow side of the water baffle above the cross beam, a water baffle traction mechanism is arranged between the water inflow side of the upper end of the water baffle and the side wall of the drainage ditch in front of the water baffle, or a water baffle pushing mechanism is arranged between the water inflow side of the lower end of the water baffle and the side wall of the drainage ditch in front of the water baffle. The gravity of the basket carrier is greater than the pulling force of the water baffle pulling mechanism or greater than the pushing force of the water baffle pushing mechanism after the basket carrier is exposed to water; according to the device, water is stored at the upstream of the water baffle, after the water at the upstream of the water baffle submerges the water baffle and is filled with the basket carrier, the water baffle rotates around the cross beam, silt particles in the drainage ditch are washed away to achieve desilting, and then the water baffle recovers the water storage state.
