The invention relates to the field of building materials, in particular to a preparation method of a high-temperature-resistant and cracking-resistant asphalt mixture. The asphalt mixture is prepared from asphalt, a hot aggregate of 6-13 mm, a hot aggregate of 4-6 mm, a hot aggregate of 0-4 mm, recycled mineral powder, a diluent and an additive. The asphalt mixture prepared by the invention has better high-temperature stability, and cannot generate diseases such as waves, pushing, ruts, upheaval and the like under the repeated action of driving loads in high-temperature seasons; the asphalt mixture prepared by the preparation method disclosed by the invention has relatively good crack resistance; the water stability is better, and the conditions of asphalt film stripping, grain falling, loosening, pit slots and the like are not easily generated; good fatigue resistance is achieved, and the structural strength of the pavement is stable.
