The invention discloses a lifting appliance for an oversized glass partition and a construction method thereof, the lifting appliance comprises a lifting frame and at least one lifting rod assembly connected to the bottom of the lifting frame, and a glass clamping piece attached to glass is arranged at the bottom of the lifting rod assembly; the lifting device is characterized in that a frame-shaped supporting cavity is defined by the bottom of the lifting frame, and a supporting base used for supporting at least one lifting rod assembly is placed in the frame-shaped supporting cavity; the suspender assembly comprises a vertically-arranged screw rod and a clamp connected to the bottom of the screw rod, and the glass clamping pieces are installed in the clamp in a tenon-and-mortise mode. Compared with the prior art, the lifting rod assemblies with the number corresponding to that of the glass are arranged on the supporting seats, the multiple pieces of glass can be hung on the same lifting frame at the same time, and after all the pieces of glass are hung, the positions of the screw rods on the supporting seats are adjusted through the adjusting nuts, so that the hanging height of all the pieces of glass is adjusted; therefore, the glass is adjusted in time, and the problem that the installation heights of the glass with different heights are uneven is solved.
