The invention relates to the technical field of door and window sealing, in particular to a sealing structure for a sliding door and window or a lifting door and window, which comprises a bracket, a telescopic rod piece and a sealing rubber strip, the bracket is clamped in a groove of a sash profile, and the bracket is limited in the vertical direction of the movement direction of the sash profile; the telescopic rod piece is arranged in the support and provided with a plurality of sliding grooves, the middle section of each sliding groove is an inclined section, horizontal extending sections are arranged on the two sides of each sliding groove respectively, and the guiding shafts are arranged in the sliding grooves and connected with the support. The telescopic rod piece is connected with the sealing rubber strip; and the elastic piece is connected with the telescopic rod piece. Compared with the prior art, the sealing structure has the advantages that the sealing effect is good, and push-pull or lifting of the sash profile is not affected; the structure is stable and reliable and the service life is long; operation is simple, and manufacturing cost is low; the sealing effect is good; normal sash pushing and pulling are not influenced; the sliding door and window has the unexpected technical effect, when the sliding sash is closed, climbing needs to be achieved in a plurality of inclined sliding grooves, and the process can completely replace a buffer of an existing sliding door and window.
