The invention relates to a novel urban viaduct deck drainage system which comprises a bridge pier, a viaduct girder on the bridge pier, channel steel arranged on the side, with the lower gradient, of the viaduct girder, an anti-collision guardrail and a drainage pipe. A first pavement layer and a second pavement layer are arranged on the viaduct girder, and a cushion layer is arranged at the bottom of the channel steel and connected with the first pavement layer. The tops of the steel channels are flush with the top face of the second pavement layer, through holes are formed in the tops of the steel channels at intervals to form drainage blind ditches, cover plates and side plates are arranged between the steel channels, the cover plates are movably connected with the side plates, the cover plates are flush with the top face of the second pavement layer, and drainage openings are pre-buried in the lower portions of the steel channels. The channel steel connects the drainage pipe to the ground water collecting well through the drainage opening, the anti-collision guardrail and the through hole can be movably connected through the pull rod, the movable steel cover plate is additionally arranged between the channel steel, a complete set of overhauling and cleaning tools are arranged, the drainage system is easy to overhaul and clean, and the service life of the drainage system is prolonged.
