The invention discloses a bottom shaft mounting method for a steel plate dam. The bottom shaft mounting method comprises the following steps: 1) surveying and setting out; (2) a bottom shaft supporting piece is installed; (3) a concrete base is poured; and 4) lifting the bottom shaft. Through the design that the concrete base and the construction plane are poured into the integrated structure, the placement firmness of each bottom shaft supporting piece on the construction plane is ensured, displacement, dislocation and the like of the bottom shaft supporting pieces are effectively limited, it is ensured that the bottom shaft supporting pieces stably support the bottom shaft, meanwhile, the two ends and the two sides of the supporting base are reinforced, and the supporting effect is improved. The structural firmness and stability of the whole structure are effectively guaranteed, the height and the transverse position of the upper supporting base directly making contact with the bottom shaft can be properly and finely adjusted after the bottom shaft supporting piece is installed through further design of the structure of the bottom shaft supporting piece, and therefore accurate positioning between the upper supporting bases on each bottom shaft supporting piece is guaranteed, the installation error is reduced, and the installation efficiency is improved. Therefore, the actual construction quality is improved through accurate positioning adjustment of the upper supporting seat.
