The invention relates to a dewatering device for a sand soil layer foundation, which comprises a well body, and the well body sequentially comprises at least one standard section and a water passing section from top to bottom; the standard knot comprises a second standard knot steel cylinder and a first standard knot steel cylinder; the water passing section comprises a first water passing section steel cylinder, a third water passing section steel cylinder and a second water passing section steel cylinder which are concentrically arranged in sequence from outside to inside; a plurality of water passing holes are formed in the cylinder wall of the first water passing section steel cylinder, water filtering gravel is filled between the first water passing section steel cylinder and the third water passing section steel cylinder, and a water passing pipe is arranged between the third water passing section steel cylinder and the second water passing section steel cylinder. According to the dewatering device, the well body is jointly formed by the standard knots and the water passing knots, a supporting structure is formed through the steel cylinders, the water passing structures are arranged in the water passing knots (each water passing structure is composed of the corresponding water passing hole, the corresponding water filtering gravel and the corresponding water passing pipe), it is guaranteed that underground water can successfully enter the well body, and meanwhile hole collapse in a sand soil layer with the large water content can be prevented.
