Embossed velvet material for roof linings
The invention relates to an embossed velvet material for roof linings. Specifically, the present invention provides a roof liner comprising an outer sheet having a velvet material having an embossed texture on a first surface and/or a second surface thereof. The velvet material comprises polyethylene glycol terephthalate (PET). The outer sheet may be composed of an embossed PET velvet material, or include a plurality of layers including an embossed PET velvet material disposed on an uppermost layer of the outer sheet. A method of embossing an outer sheet comprising a PET velvet material is also provided. Embodiments of the method relate to imprinting an outer sheet using an off-line imprinting method or an on-line imprinting method separate from the fabric production line.

The invention relates to an embossed velvet material for roof linings.
