The invention discloses a cylinder-to-square column assembly type ox horn hoop structure and an installation method thereof.The structure comprises a round steel column, a plurality of ox horn hoop assemblies arranged on the outer side of the round steel column and a base plate arranged on the outer sides of the ox horn hoop assemblies, and the ox horn hoop assemblies are arranged on the outer side of the round steel column at equal intervals; the ox horn hoop assembly comprises four ox horn hoop pieces which are connected in sequence, and a square structure is defined by the four ox horn hoop pieces. Each ox horn hoop piece comprises a main body plate, switching parts, a connecting plate and a wing plate, the switching parts are arranged at the two ends of the main body plate, the switching parts and the main body plate are oppositely arranged at equal angles, the connecting plates are arranged at the ends of the two switching parts and are perpendicular to the switching parts, and the connecting plates are used for being connected with the connecting plates of the adjacent ox horn hoop pieces; and the wing plates are arranged at the end parts of the two connecting plates. The fabricated steel structure can be rapidly installed, later maintenance is convenient, the decoration effect is good, the technical problem that a square column is wrapped by a cylinder in a building is solved through the fabricated steel structure, and the fabricated steel structure conforms to the feature of rapid assembly and disassembly.
