The invention discloses a cylinder-to-square column assembly type pre-welding hoop structure and an installation method thereof.The structure comprises a round steel column, a plurality of pre-welding hoop assemblies arranged on the outer side of the round steel column and a base plate arranged on the outer sides of the pre-welding hoop assemblies, and the multiple pre-welding hoop assemblies are arranged on the outer side of the round steel column at equal intervals; the pre-welding hoop assembly comprises four pre-welding hoop pieces which are sequentially connected and arranged, a square structure is defined by the four pre-welding hoop pieces together, and the outer side of the round steel column is sprayed with fireproof paint. The pre-welding hoop piece comprises a right-angle corner connector, a three-fold bending piece and a flush joint piece which are connected in a matched mode, the right-angle corner connector is welded and fixed to the round steel column, the three-fold bending piece is fixed to the right-angle corner connector, one end of the flush joint piece is fixed to the three-fold bending piece, and the other end of the flush joint piece is fixed to the three-fold bending piece of the adjacent pre-welding hoop piece. The fabricated steel structure can be rapidly installed, later maintenance is convenient, the decoration effect is good, the technical problem that a square column is wrapped by a cylinder in a building is solved through the fabricated steel structure, and the fabricated steel structure conforms to the feature of rapid assembly and disassembly.
