The invention discloses a large-tonnage two-span type deck self-propelled movable formwork and a construction method thereof.The large-tonnage two-span type deck self-propelled movable formwork comprises a main frame, a front auxiliary supporting leg, a rear auxiliary supporting leg, a main supporting leg, a hanging outer rib, an outer formwork system and an inner formwork system; the main frame is composed of two groups of longitudinal beams, a plurality of groups of outriggers and a plurality of groups of connecting systems, each group of longitudinal beams is composed of a main beam and a guide beam, the main beam is of a combined structure with three or more layers, a strain sensor is arranged in the main beam, a pressure sensing assembly is arranged in the rear auxiliary supporting leg, and the pressure condition of the rear auxiliary supporting leg can be monitored in real time; according to the large-tonnage bridge construction supporting device, the main frame is composed of a three-layer or more-layer combined structure, the rigidity requirement of large-tonnage bridge construction can be well met, and the large-tonnage bridge construction supporting device can adapt to the construction working condition of large-tonnage bridge erection; and the safety and the economical efficiency are greatly improved.
