The invention discloses an underground carry-scraper and a control method thereof, and the underground carry-scraper comprises a bucket, a vehicle body and a big arm; the vehicle body mainly comprises a lifter, an angle sensor, an operation handle, a man-machine interaction device and a controller. The controller is electrically connected with the lifter and the angle sensor so that the lifter can drive the large arm at the preset arm descending speed when the large arm descends to the height limited by the preset protection angle. The operating handle and the man-machine interaction device are electrically connected with the controller so that the controller can control the lifter according to signals of the operating handle or/and the man-machine interaction device. The underground carry-scraper and the control method thereof have the beneficial effects that the descending efficiency of the bucket can be guaranteed, and meanwhile impact generated when the bucket descends can be buffered.
