The invention discloses a drainer capable of being opened and closed manually or electrically. The drainer comprises a draining assembly and a control module. The water draining assembly comprises an outer shell, a pressing cover and a bouncing core; the bouncing core is vertically arranged at the lower end of the pressing cover; the control module comprises an external control switch, a fixing support arranged at the lower end of the external shell, an electromagnet arranged on the fixing support and a transmission connecting piece arranged between the pressing cover and the electromagnet. The magnetic attraction block is arranged at the lower end of the transmission connecting piece; the cable is arranged between an external control switch and the electromagnet; one end of the cable is connected with the external control switch; and the other end of the cable is connected with the electromagnet. The drainer can be electrically controlled to realize the electric opening and closing of the drainer, so that the non-contact and manual opening and closing water discharging and storing functions are realized; in addition, the drainer can be manually controlled to be opened and closed, and maintenance personnel can conveniently overhaul the drainer.
