The telegraph pole base comprises a base top seat, three sliding grooves are annularly formed in the upper end of the base top seat, reinforcing mechanisms are slidably mounted in the three sliding grooves, three first mounting holes are annularly formed in the upper end of the base top seat, and a second mounting hole is formed in the lower end of the base top seat. First fixing mechanisms are connected into the three first mounting holes in a penetrating mode, a base is integrally formed at the lower end of the base top seat, four extending plates are integrally formed on the lower portion of the outer surface of the base, and second mounting holes are formed in the sides, away from the base, of the upper ends of the four extending plates; and second fixing mechanisms are connected into the four second mounting holes in a penetrating manner. According to the telegraph pole base and the fixing method thereof, the telegraph pole body is high in stability, firm in fixation and small in environmental influence, construction can be conducted at any time, the construction progress is guaranteed, and the whole base is high in stability, simple in structure and convenient to operate.
