The invention relates to the field of marble, in particular to a method for processing artificial marble by adopting unsaturated polyester resin, which meets the requirements of the artificial marble on high pressure resistance and difficulty in fracture under various existing construction conditions and the requirements on high temperature resistance and low pressure resistance in a severe environment. The formula comprises the following components in parts by weight: 30 to 200 parts of unsaturated polyester resin, 10 to 80 parts of broken stone, 2 to 10 ml/kg of accelerant, 100 to 246 parts of aluminum hydroxide powder and 0.2 to 1 part of pigment.
