The invention discloses an anti-smashing and anti-mistaken-opening barrier gate system and method. The system comprises a sensing module which is arranged in a preset distance range of a barrier gate and sends sensed first state information of a target object in the preset distance range to a background server, and an anti-smashing and anti-mistaken-opening module which is installed at a case of the barrier gate and senses second state information of the target object in the preset distance range and sends the second state information of the target object in the preset distance range to the background server. The background server determines a control instruction of the barrier gate based on the first state information and sends the control instruction to the anti-smashing and anti-mistaken-opening module, the anti-smashing and anti-mistaken-opening module determines a scene where the target object is located based on the control instruction and the second state information, and when it is determined that the target object is in the anti-smashing and anti-mistaken-opening scene, the control instruction is sent to the anti-smashing and anti-mistaken-opening module. And based on the control instruction and the second state information, determining a target control instruction for controlling the lifting and lowering of a supporting rod of the barrier gate, so that the target object passes through the barrier gate or is stopped from passing through the barrier gate.
