A steel wire rope net damping shock absorption telescopic device comprises side longitudinal beams (1), middle longitudinal beams (2) and displacement boxes (3) and is characterized in that steel wire rope net dampers are arranged at the bottoms of the side longitudinal beams (1) and the bottoms of the middle longitudinal beams (2) and comprise steel wire rope nets (6), side longitudinal beam anchoring nodes (7) and middle longitudinal beam anchoring nodes (8); the steel wire rope net (6) is of a planar net structure formed by interweaving and connecting one or more steel wire ropes, the two sides of the steel wire rope net (6) are fixed to the side longitudinal beams (1) on the two sides or beam end embedded parts through side longitudinal beam anchoring nodes (7) respectively, and the intersection portions of the steel wire rope net (6) are connected together through middle longitudinal beam anchoring nodes (8). The bridge expansion device is simple in structure, convenient to mount and replace, high in applicability and excellent in damping performance, can be applied to a newly-built bridge expansion device and can also be applied to reinforcement and transformation of an existing bridge.
