The ceramic composition provided by the invention is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: 97 to 99 percent of aluminum oxide, 0.5 to 2 percent of BaxSr1-xTiO3, 0.3 to 0.7 percent of glass phase and 0.2 to 0.7 percent of rare earth oxide, wherein x is equal to 0.3 to 0.5; and the glass phase comprises MgO, CaO and SiO2. The ceramic substrate prepared from the ceramic composition provided by the invention has the advantages of high dielectric constant, low dielectric loss, high breakdown strength and high density, and has wide application in electronic devices, especially high-frequency electronic devices.
