The invention discloses a pile foundation with a side wall supporting structure and a construction method of the pile foundation. The pile foundation comprises a pile foundation body (1) and a side wall supporting structure, the side wall supporting structure is fixedly arranged on the peripheral side of the pile foundation body and extends outwards, and the extended side wall supporting structure is embedded in a soil body on the periphery of the pile foundation body; the side wall supporting structure comprises a plurality of supporting strips (2), and the supporting strips are fixedly arranged on the peripheral side of the pile foundation body and extend outwards in a radial shape. The supporting strips incline upwards or downwards. The pile foundation construction method comprises the steps of geological survey data analysis, pile foundation design, cast-in-place pile hole forming, reinforcement cage lowering, concrete pouring, pile side insertion of supporting strips and pile foundation quality detection. The pile foundation has high bearing capacity, the pile foundation construction method is used for constructing the pile foundation, and the bearing capacity of the constructed pile foundation can be improved without enlarging the pile diameter and/or increasing the pile length.
