The invention provides an opening and closing cover assembly for an opening part of an automobile body, the opening and closing cover assembly comprises a cover plate used for opening and closing the opening part, a driving source, a guide piece driven by the driving source to reciprocate, a transmission sliding block and a fixed guide rail used for being fixed with the automobile body, the guide piece is fixed with the transmission sliding block, the transmission sliding block is connected with the cover plate, and the fixed guide rail is connected with the cover plate. A first sliding groove in sliding fit with the guide piece and a second sliding groove in sliding fit with the transmission sliding block are formed in the fixed guide rail, the driving source drives the cover plate to reciprocate between the closing position and the full-opening position through the guide piece and the transmission sliding block, and therefore the opening part in the automobile body is automatically opened and closed, and the operation experience feeling is improved. When the cover plate is in the full-open position, the cover plate is completely stored in the automobile body, and the overall attractiveness of the automobile is improved when the opening part is in the open state; the cover plate covers the opening part at the closed position, and the overall attractiveness of the automobile is improved when the opening part is in the closed state.
