A reinforcing metal member for reinforcing a through-hole formed from one surface to the other surface of a wooden building member includes a first plate member made of a metal plate, a cylindrical member made of a metal cylinder, and a second plate member made of a metal plate. The first plate component is arranged on one surface of the wooden building component and is provided with a through hole through which the rod-shaped fastener can penetrate. The cylindrical member is inserted throughout the entire length of the through-hole of the wooden building member, and the rod-shaped fastener can pass through the cylindrical member. And the second plate component is arranged on the other surface of the wooden building component and is provided with a through hole through which the rod-shaped fastener can penetrate.
