The invention relates to a sponge road. The sponge road comprises a sidewalk, a roadway, curbs, a precipitation module and a stagnant storage module, the precipitation module is arranged on the sidewalk and is in contact with the side wall of the curb, and the precipitation module is provided with a precipitation space and a concrete inlet for precipitation of inflow rainwater; the concrete inlet is formed in the roadway and provided with a water inlet, and rainwater on the roadway flows into the precipitation module through the water inlet; the stagnant storage module is arranged on the sidewalk; the stagnant storage module is provided with a stagnant storage area, a mounting opening and a rainwater outlet are formed in the side, close to the curb, of the stagnant storage area, and the mounting opening and the rainwater outlet are formed in the rainwater flowing direction; a precipitation module is mounted at the mounting opening; a water passing hole of the precipitation module is communicated with the stagnant storage area; and the rainwater outlet is used for discharging the rainwater overflowing from the stagnant storage area to a roadway. According to the system, road rainwater non-point source pollution is treated, and rainwater accumulation is avoided.
