A flush toilet according to the present invention is configured to have a bowl part provided with a bowl-shaped dirt receiving surface, a rim part, a spout part formed in the rim part, and a water storage part having a front region and a rear region, and is configured so as to be able to flush the dirt receiving surface during a washing period in which washing water for washing the dirt receiving surface flows into the water storage part. The ratio of the inflow rate of the washing water flowing into the front side area of the water storage part in the second half of washing to the total inflow rate of the washing water flowing into the water storage part is greater than the ratio of the inflow rate of the washing water flowing into the front side area of the water storage part in the first half of washing to the total inflow rate of the washing water flowing into the water storage part.
