According to the process method for producing the ardealite cement retarder by converting the ardealite crystal structure, part of crystal water in the ardealite is dehydrated in a liquid phase form by utilizing certain temperature and pressure, and harmful impurities contained in the ardealite are effectively removed and digested in the process of changing the ardealite crystal structure; when the phosphogypsum material is applied to cement production, various physical performance indexes of the phosphogypsum material can reach the material performance of natural gypsum.
