The invention provides a wave control energy gathering device and a design method thereof. The wave control energy gathering device comprises a horizontal bottom plate and a guided wave array. The horizontal bottom plate is located below the seabed, the projection of the horizontal bottom plate on the horizontal plane is an isosceles right triangle, and the hypotenuse of the horizontal bottom plate is tightly attached to the bank wall of the linear vertical bank. The wave guide array comprises a plurality of arrow-shaped wave guide plates which are arranged at equal intervals along the perpendicular bisector of the hypotenuse of an isosceles right triangle, each wave guide plate comprises a first flat plate and a second flat plate which are in mirror symmetry, and the projection of each wave guide plate on the horizontal plane is stopped at the side line of the isosceles right triangle; the lower ends of the wave guide plates are fixedly connected with the horizontal bottom plate, and the upper ends of the wave guide plates are equal in height and located below the water surface. According to the technical scheme, the structure is simple, the manufacturing and construction cost is low, and control over the wave propagation path and wave energy gathering can be achieved without modifying the structures of existing wharfs and ports.
