The invention relates to the situation that the drawing sequence of a construction site is inconsistent with that of a designer, in particular to a supporting method for reverse construction of adjacent deep foundation pits of a steel mill. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: constructing and supporting a position with the digging depth of 4.8-6.0 m of a foundation pit; construction and supporting are conducted on the position, with the digging depth being 6.0-7.0 m, of the foundation pit; constructing and supporting a position with the excavation depth of 7.0-8.0 m of the foundation pit; constructing and supporting the position with the excavation depth of 8.0-9.0 m of the foundation pit; constructing and supporting the position, with the excavation depth of 8.3 m, of the foundation pit; constructing and supporting the position, with the digging depth of 10.62 m, of the foundation pit; foundation pit excavation foundation construction; by the adoption of the steps, related technical difficulties in the construction process of shallow foundation pits first and then deep foundation pits are solved, and therefore reverse construction is more economical, ordered and safer.
