The invention provides a wall dividing joint drawing method and a printing robot. The method comprises the following steps: if a drawing starting point of a target dividing joint to be drawn is a drawn dividing joint, controlling a printing spray head to move through a movement mechanism, and identifying the drawn dividing joint through a color sensor; when the color sensor recognizes that the dividing joint is drawn, the printing spray head sprays out paint to draw a target dividing joint; if the drawing end point of the target dividing joint is the drawn dividing joint, the printing spray head is controlled to move through the movement mechanism, and the printing spray head sprays coating in the moving process to draw the target dividing joint; the drawn dividing joints are identified through a color sensor; and when the color sensor recognizes that the division joint is drawn, the printing spray head stops spraying the coating, and drawing of the target division joint is completed. According to the mode, the problems of discontinuity and dislocation of the wall surface dividing joints can be avoided, the wall surface drawing accuracy is improved, and meanwhile the drawing efficiency is improved.
