The invention discloses glaze with wood-grain-like light sensation and application of the glaze in preparation of ceramic tiles with high fidelity and wood-grain-like light sensation, the glaze comprises 95-98 parts of basic glaze, 0.5-2 parts of pigment, 0.5-3 parts of modified light sensation material and 1-4 parts of glycerin solvent; the specific formula comprises the following raw materials: 96% of basic glaze, 2% of pigment, 2% of modified photosensitive material and 3% of glycerin solvent. Quartzite and carbon black are subjected to high-temperature pyrolysis under the anaerobic condition and then uniformly mixed for sulfonation and oxidation reaction, cross-linking of quartzite and carbon black is increased, crystalline phases in glaze can be increased due to high firing temperature, atomic groups are intercepted by utilizing tinting strength and covering power of carbon black, and a soft light sensation function is generated; the wood-grain-like light sensation of the ceramic tile is realized.
