The invention discloses a temporary supporting system and a temporary supporting method for foundation reinforcement. The temporary supporting system comprises a support, a first column connecting piece, a second column connecting piece, a ground beam and an inclined strut. The support is arranged beside the structural column; the first column connecting piece and the second column connecting piece are both installed on the structural column, and the first column connecting piece is located above the second column connecting piece. The ground beam is horizontally arranged and is connected with the support and the second column connecting piece; the inclined strut is obliquely arranged and connected with the support and the first column connecting piece. When the foundation sinks, the load applied to the structural column by the superstructure and the dead weight of the structural column and the foundation are transmitted to the support through the inclined strut, and the ground beam bears the horizontal force transmitted to the support by the inclined strut so as to realize load underpinning; and before the foundation is reinforced, the jack is used for pre-jacking the connecting joint of the ground beam and the support beam, so that a supporting system of a building is stressed in advance, and the vertical deformation during reinforcement disturbance of the foundation is reduced.
